The AMEREX model B570 flammable metal fire extinguisher has been FM approved for class D fires. Ideal for heavy industrial settings, the AMEREX B570 is recommended for metal fires involving magnesium, potassium, aluminum sodium-potassium alloys, and thermite. The AMEREX soft flow applicator allows the operator to stand away from the extreme heat and toxic fumes caused by burning material. The easily controlled, even discharge provides a non-dispersing application of the agent. The extension applicator may be quickly detached to provide a straight stream of extinguishing agent where greater range is required. This extinguisher is equipped with a dependable drawn-steel cylinder. The large loop pull pin makes the fire extinguisher easy to use.
